About FDC
FDC’s fundamental drive is to champion Caribbean and Black national pride/culture through eye catching designs and urban products. We provide individuals the opportunity to wear their history proudly on their backs.
At our core we aim to tell the story of what has made our cultures and what continues to define them.
Birthed from just an idea to produce some fresh cultural themed clothing for Bahamian Independence Day “For Da Culture” was born. Comprised of high school friends, Dante Taylor, Briocci Brown and Jabez Paul, the team discovered that patriotism is a year round phenomena not just an independence bug. Seeing as interest in the original “3 fuh 5” dad hat design continued strong long after Independence Day, the crew knew they were on to something. After realizing the need for greater Caribbean and Black expression through fashion, the team expanded the brand’s focus to reach the overall Caribbean and Black diaspora.
